Nokia has lost a lot of ground in the mobile market in recent years, with all of its smartphones having been launched in the shadow of Apple’s iPhone phenomenon.
Like its other competitors, the Finnish manufacturer hopes its latest handset will turn around its declining fortunes.
Not to be confused with the similarly-titled C6, the C6-01 enters the crowded smartphone arena at the lower end, and is priced accordingly.

The first thing that strikes you about the phone is how compact it is. Measuring 103.8 x 52.5 x 13.9mm, the C6-01 is definitely smaller than its better known competitors, although it is a few millimetres thicker.
This size advantage is complemented by a strong build – the back of the handset comes protected by a metal cover and the phone feels pleasingly sturdy.
Its 3.2inch display is crystal clear and very attractive to look at, making it a relatively simple handset to navigate.
Unlike its near-namesake, the C6-01 runs the Symbian 3 operating system and offers a far smoother user experience as a result [via]
